Robert Kiiza

Robert Kiiza Opiya-Akinya is an Advocate of the High court. He is an Adjunct Lecturer for International Trade Law, Banking Law, Labour Law, Law of Sale of Goods, Contract Law and Equity and Trusts.

Robert works at the Inspectorate of Government, Kampala in the Directorate of Legal Affairs as an Inspectorate Officer attached to the Prosecution Unit where he not only prosecutes corruption related cases in all courts of Uganda but also advises on legislative proposals related to reduction and eradication of Corruption in Uganda.

He has a Master of Laws in International Trade and Commercial Law from Oxford Brookes University, UK. Robert is a holds the Degree of Bachelor of Laws from Uganda Christian University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.

He has undergone several trainings and has been awarded a certificate in a Trial Advocacy-Course by Uganda Law Society and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy-USA, and a certificate in Discipleship and Character Development: Steven Covey Leadership Center in Conjunction with Cornerstone Development, Uganda.
