Biography

Daniel Kisa serves as Head of Department for the School of Law at Uganda Christian University, where he leads with a commitment to excellence, faith integration, and service to Uganda and beyond.

Appointed in early 2026, he is dedicated to advancing UCU’s mission of equipping morally grounded lawyers who embody the university’s core values of Christ-Centredness, Diligence, Integrity, Servanthood, and Stewardship.

Daniel’s vision is to cultivate a vibrant academic community that bridges rigorous legal scholarship with biblical principles of justice, reconciliation, and human dignity.

He is passionate about deepening faith integration across the curriculum, and preparing students to address Uganda’s social challenges through ethical advocacy and community transformation.

Daniel, an LLB and LLM holder brings extensive experience in teaching, advocacy and research.
He is committed to supporting faculty and student holistic development, fostering partnerships, and upholding the Instruments of Identity-as the foundation of legal education at UCU.
