The School of Law, Uganda Christian University is dedicated to providing instruction to students in the legal field and develop a hub of legal scholarship and research facilities for students, academics and researchers from Uganda, East Africa, and beyond. Our academic staff work as a team and are dedicated to assisting our students achieve their academic goals. The UCU School of Law takes pride in being a core part of the ‘Centre of Excellence in the Heart of Africa’. It further curves out a niche in producing academicians and legal professionals with a strong sense of ethics, morals and integrity based on Christian foundations, who can promote access to justice and the rule of law.
Currently, the UCU School of Law is headed by the Dean Dr. Peter Davis Mutesasira who is vested with overall supervisory administrative functions of the faculty. The Dean is assisted by two Associate Deans i.e., Ms. Mirriam Achieng for Main Campus and Dr. Charlotte Kabaseke for Kampala campus. The UCU School of Law also has two Heads of department (HoDs) i.e., Ms. Rebecca Namirimu Gomes for Undergraduate Studies and Mr. Edgar Baguma for Postgraduate Studies. Furthermore, the UCU School of Law two Assistant Registrars (ARs) i.e., Mr. Andrew Ayebare for Main Campus and Ms. Miriam Nanozi for Kampala Campus.
