Dr. Peter Davis Mutesasira (Ph.D)

Biography

Dr. Peter Davis Mutesasira is currently the Dean and a Senior Lecturer at the UCU School of law. He has also previously served as the Associate Dean and research coordinator. Dr Mutesasira joined the UCU School of Law in 2009 and currently teaches environmental law and policy. Peter Davis also teaches on the LLM programme of Energy Law and Policy.

Dr. Mutesasira holds a PhD in Environmental Law from the University of Amsterdam (UVA) in The Netherlands and an LLM in Public Law from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. His other research interests also include: International Trade Law; WTO Law; Labour Law and; Administrative Law. During his career Dr. Mutesasira has gained extensive experience as a trainer and consultant especially in biotechnology, environmental compliance and sustainable environmental management.
